I have a theory that if you're afraid something bad will happen, if you talk about the bad things that could happen, it lesses the chances of them happening. Tonight is our last rehearsal before we open tomorrow. It's our final dress rehearsal and our tech rehearsal. We've already had some interesting things come up so I'm going to put my theory to the test. If I make a list of bad things that could happen, then they won't happen.
1. Our leads lose their voices
2. The orchestra doesn't arrive until 7 p.m.
3. The set pieces break while they are being danced on
4. The community college double booked
5. Costumes/set pieces were stolen
6. Costumes/set pieces were ruined from sprinklers
7. Someone pulls a Diva fit
8. Austin's appendix bursts
9. Someone throws up on stage
12. Someone's costume rips during the show
13. Someone falls into the orchestra pit
14. 20 Mack trucks drive across the stage during the courthouse scene
15. We lose power
Those are all that I could think of right off hand. So this will mean we will have a great rehearsal tonight. Our cast is wonderful and talented and have worked really hard so I'm not worried.

That was fabulous! My favorite it #14...
Break a leg, everyone!
...especially because there is no #9-11. :)
