As I mentioned in a previous post I was going to do what I could to meet Jonathan Crombie. Not only did I get to meet him but I got a picture of him with me and he has his arm around me!!!!!

He was sooooo nice and still REALLY REALLY cute!!! At one point he said "sorry" in his really cute accent and way. Those of you who have seen Anne of Green Gables know what I mean. My heart literally stopped when he said that. Stephanie does a good impression of my reaction. He actually stayed and chatted a bit with us. The other awesome thing is that he didn't care too much for the third "Anne" either. Don't get me wrong, it was cute and I still watch it a lot, it just didn't follow the book at all, which he agreed with. When I was going to get my picture with him, Steph said "Maybe we should ask the famous person first if we can have a picture" and he said "I'm not famous" and my responce was "yes you are!!" I think it made him feel good. I was on cloud 9 after that. I couldn't even sit down. Out of all of the famous people I have met, this would have to be my number 1 favorite experience. I could have lived without the psycho lady next to us, but even that makes the story better.
And the show was fabulous!! One of my new favorites. I bought the soundtrack and it's not the same without Jonathan but it's still wonderful! If you ever get a chance to see The Drowsy Chaperone, go and see it!!!! You will love it!
And I love Jonathan Crombie!!!

Not Famous?! Hello...every chick in North America knows and loves Gilbert Blithe! I am jealous - that would have been awesome and I would have been "staulking" right there with you...
