I'm Thankful For...

Baby Jorgensen arriving early June 2010!!!

That's right!! I'm pregnant!!!! I'm currently 12 weeks pregnant. We've had an ultrasound and was able to see it's heartbeat. Since we've seen the heartbeat, my doctor said the chance of misscarriage is about 1% so he's not worried at all. My official due date is June 6, 2010. We find out if it's a boy or girl on January 21 so right about my birthday. Happy Birthday to me!! I've been feeling extremely tired and get massive headaches but I'm doing ok. Hutch is taking really good care of me. We are both very happy, excited and grateful that the Lord has blessed us with our little miracle.
It's on the left side of the picture. There is a dotted line showing the length.

Giving Thanks

If you go to this web site, www.LetsSayThanks.com you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq. You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to a member of the armed services.

How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!! It is FREE and it only takes a second.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these? Whether you are for or against the war, our soldiers over there need to know we are behind them.

This takes just 10 seconds and it's a wonderful way to say thank you. Please take the time and please take the time to pass it on for others to do. We can never say enough thank you's.

Rude Patrons

I went to a musical last night and was shocked and amazed at how rude people still are at the theater.

If you have someone going to the theater with you who does not want to be there, don't make them go. They will kick the seat in front of them (my seat) through the whole show because they won't sit still. It doesn't matter how old they are (this kid was about 17 or 18). And if your kid or someone in your group is kicking someone's chair, MAKE THEM STOP, before someone else makes them stop (and it won't be pleasant).

If you are sitting in the front row at a theater in the round, don't make fun of the show. Don't cover your face with your program when the actors are near you. It's rude to the actors and the other audience memebers that you're pulling focus and mocking them. This is to the three ladies at "Curtains" last night on the front row, north east section (yes I will name names - if I knew their names). Two of them were wearing red jackets and one was in a gray jacket. I was getting embarressed for them at how they were acting.

I know that a lot of people think it's more important to get people in the seats and sell tickets then the politeness of the audience, but why can't we have both. I do hope that if the ushers notice this behavior that they say something to the patrons. Or if the actors notice a rude patron, that they inform the stage manager or someone and they talk to the patron or remove them from the theater. No one deserves to be treated badly, especially when they have worked really hard for your enjoyment.

Stepping off of soap box now.

Average is Great!!

"I've learned that when you make average great, your dreams can become a reality."
~Suze Orman

How many times have we thought, "my life would be better if I was rich", "I would be happier if I had this job", "Things would be happier if I had/did this..." How many of you have reached that? If we look too long for these grand things to happen, we miss life and the many opportunities that we could have had. I love this quote from Suze Orman. If you appreciate and are happy for the average day to day, your life will be happy and you are more likely to make your dreams come true. Make every little mundane thing you do something that is very exciting and appreciate that you have the ability to do that thing and you will love and appreciate your life more.
