Behind in my Thanks!

Day 13
Today I am thankful for George Frederic Handel and his works "Messiah" (not THE Messiah as many have said, wikipedia corrected me). I am participating in a Midvale Tri-Stake production of Messiah and I also have the opportunity to sing one of the soprano solos. I usually hate hearing Christmas music before Thanksgiving but I'm ok with this music. It amazes me how much talent Handel was blessed with to be able to write all of this music. It matches perfectly with the beautiful words from the Bible.

On a side note: I do LOVE Christmas music but I feel bad for Thanksgiving getting skipped over. Yes, I treat Thanksgiving like a human being with feelings. :) heehee!! But I do prefer the old Christmas music over the teen boppers and pop starts trying to remake those songs.

Day 14
Today I'm thankful for our Primary. Today was our Primary program. The Primary Program is my favorite Sacrament meeting. It's wonderful to hear the children teach us what they have learned this year. It was also adorable not to understand the verses of the song "Follow the Prophet" but the chorus was loud and clear.

Day 15
Today I'm thankful for smiles. My favorite moment of each day is when I see Perrin for the first time in the morning and he gives me the biggest smile possible. It really starts my day off. Then when I see him after work he does the same thing. He gives me the biggest smile and giggle and is so happy to see me. It's amazing how something as simple as a smile can mean so much.
