Today I'm thankful for my ward. I have a very friendly ward. Everyone cares about everyone else and is always willing to help with what they can. We also have a wonderful choir. It was the first ward choir I've been in that has a lot of people in it and everyone CAN sing. I'm sad that we haven't been attending practice recently because it interferes with pumping and/or nap time for Perrin. We also can't participate in the choir performance (evening performance) because we have our family Christmas party at the same time. We can perform during sacrament meeting though. We just need to work on our schedule so we can attend practice. I also have a wonderful relief society presidency. They are so nice and caring and they are also hilarious! It's so nice to have a ward that is welcoming, fun and willing to share their testimony.
Day 22
Today I'm thankful for my parents. Today is a good day because it's the exact day between their birthdays. My dad's is October 22 and my mom's is December 22. My parents have done so much for me, I don't know where I'd be or what kind of person I'd be without them. They have sacraficed so m
uch for me and my family that I know I can never repay them. I am truly blessed to have them as my parents. There is no doubt in my mind that I picked them when I was in heaven. I might have even beat up some people to guarentee that they are my parents. :) At least I know I would have if needed. :) I'm so thankful for all that they have taught me and for all of the support they have given me. I have never doubted the love that they have for me. I know there were choices I made that worried them or didn't make them happy but I'm grateful that they stayed by my side and were always there if I failed. Thank you mom and dad for everything. I love you so much and I'm so thankful to our Heavenly Father for letting me be with you forever. p.s. the photo is of a very pregnant me and my parents at my sister-in-laws wedding.Day 23
Today I'm thankful for weathermen. Yes, most of the time they are incorrect and sometimes (like this day) they say a storm will be worse then it turns out to be, but I'm thankful we have them. Can you imagine if we lived in a time when we didn't have them and this storm came along? Would you have been prepared for the storm? I'm thankful that my work let us go home at 1 p.m. so we were home before the storm hit. I know it wasn't as bad as predicted but it was bad enough that there could have been A LOT more accidents and problems had everyone been heading home at their normal time. So, no matter what people say about weather people (have to be P.C.), I'm thankful we have them.
