When you see a fire alarm box, are you tempted to pull it? You know you never will because you could get into a lot of trouble, but is there a part of you that really wants to? I have always wanted to and today I got to! I got to pull the fire alarm!!! No there wasn't an emergency, just a fire drill. I help manage many office towers downtown and today we had a fire drill in one of them. Usually I stand outside and time how long it takes for the whole building to evacuate. I asked my boss if I could pull the alarm this time and he said yes. I was very excited!! I stood in front of the alarm and wanted for them to tell me to pull it. Once they gave me the go, I pushed the button and pulled the latch down and the alarm went off in the entire building. I feel like I've fullfilled a childhood dream. :)

Pull Down!!

Could you feel the noise? Like when you pop your back you can feel and hear it ... I imagine it would be like that if I got to pull a fire alarm.
Next you should get a new box of Kleenex and take them out one by one, throwing them as you run around the house. I've always wanted to do that, too.
