Monday, Monday

Hutch and I started the day off great this morning. My sweetheart accidentally locked my car keys in my car this morning. I put my purse and lunch in the passenger side of my car, and locked the door and closed it. I was walking over to the driver side of my car when Hutch asked for my house key. I threw him my car key to open the passenger side to get it out of my purse. When he got the house key, he put the car key in the ignition, locked the passenger door because I had it locked before, and closed the door. I asked for my car key back and he said it's in the ignition. I told him that he just locked my key in the car. He had thought I had already unlocked the driver side of the car. I laughed a bit because locking keys in a car is something I would do, not him. We called a locksmith to come and help us out. I think Hutch got more frustrated with the fact that it cost us $75 and took less than one minute to get the car opened, then actually locking the key inside. Today I will be going and getting a copy of my car key to keep in the house. My extra key is at my parents house. Becoming a member of AAA is sounding more and more inticing.

I think I can top you. John and I were in LA at a gas station. John got out to pump the gas. I got out and closed my door and realized I left the key in the ignition (the car was off). I turned to open the door and realized it had locked - the whole car had locked down. I started feaking out thinking that John would be furious - he wasn't - as he said later sh** happens. He called AAA. After waiting for 30 minutes at a gas staion in LA they came and unlocked our car. I am now only seeing the lighter side of this situation.
