1940s Radio Hour

Last night I was able to attend "1940's Radio Hour" presented by West Jordan City. What a cute show! I brought my friend Cherie with me. She is Perrin's runner-up Godmother. You know, if Perrin's Godmother (Stephanie) can't fulfill her duties, the runner-up steps in. Yes, I pick my child's Godmother like I pick Beauty Queens. heehee!! Anyway, my friend Megan was in the show and gave me 2 comp tickets (thank you Megs!) and I'm so glad she did! She did such a wonderful job! The show was really fun and helps you get into the Christmas mood. I love the songs of that time period. Megan sings "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" and she did such a beautiful job. Her high notes were so clear and just floated in the air. It was angelic! So if you are able to, go and see it. It is performing at the Midvale Arts Center, I believe through the end of this week. Here are a couple of photos I took of Meg during the show. They were taken with my cell phone so they are not very clear.

I had a snarky comment about the Beauty Queen comment, but when I phrase it one way it insults Cherie (not cool) and the other way insults me and makes me sound like I do not have a high self esteem.

I hope I can see this show Friday. If not I for sure will 'hear' it tonight.
