Need Suggestions

I need some help from my crafty friends out there. I recently bought some tall, plastic containers to put cereal in. With our swamp cooler running almost constantly, our cereal doesn't seem to last as long as it should so I purchased these containers to put our cereal in to help keep it fresh. Since I don't buy the same cereal each time, I'd like to find a way to mark what cereal is in each container but I don't want to do anything permanent. Does anyone have any suggestions for tags or something that will still make it easy for me to change it when the cereal changes?

Masking Tape is my favorite thing. Strip of tape, write with a sharpie, comes off when you need it to change.

Another idea - cut out the front of the box of cereal, so you see the title. Put that in a plastic ziploc bag (a big one should fit the front of the box in it) and place that on the side before pouring the cereal in. When it's time for new cereal, change out the boxfront.

Hope that helps!

Do you want cute or just functional? You know I'm all about cute, and this would be pretty easy too.

Cut pieces of sheet protector. You can sew down the sides and bottom to customize them to the size you need. Glue the back of the sheet protector onto the containers, leaving the top open.

Print a cute label on your computer for the kinds of cereal you buy most (if you're anything like me you may buy different kinds, but probably rotate through the same general ones). Keep those in the cupboard, and slide the correct one into the sheet protector when you fill the container with cereal.

You could print a few blank ones for the times you try a new cereal, and then just write the name of the cereal on it.

Im with "Kate" Masking tape. Cheap and easy. You could put a couple long pieces and cross out the old info and write the new and not have to replace the tape every time. Oh and they have that nice blue color too.
