Ahh Sushi!

I have been scanned! The government now knows I've been to a bar!! My sis-in-law Tif took my hubby and I out to dinner last night to Ahh Sushi. It's a sushi bar that is shared with the Ah Shucks bar in the basement of the restaurant Martine. So when we walked in, they asked for my ID and they scanned it. Now it's on my record. heehee!!

We sat at the sushi bar so we got to watch our sushi get made. The sushi chef was really nice and informative. It was 1/2 price sushi while we were there so we ordered 10 rolls for the three of us. They were yummy. I didn't try all of them because some of them were HOT. My favorite, out of what we ordered, was called Funky Vegas. It's a tempura roll with salmon, crab, tobiko, cream cheese and spicy eel sauce. I was unsure if I'd like the spicy eel sauce because I'm a wimp when it comes to spice, but it was a yummy kick. This was one of our appetizers, it's Edamame with salt. It was really yummy.
This is another appetizer we had. It's tempura veggies. There was broccoli, carrots, onions, peppers, red peppers, and asparegous. It was really yummy!!This is a picture of Hutch eating a sushi rolled called Death. He said that he has had hotter rolls before. But remember, Hutch loves hot things and can take it.The roll in the center is the Funky Vegas. The roll on the right is a California Roll and the one on the left is a Philadelphia Roll.
The roll on the left is the Death roll, the two rolls covered in rice is the Seattle Crunch and the other roll is the Funky Charlie. I didn't try the Death roll or the Funky Charlie because I was told they were hot.

It was a fun and enjoyable evening. If you really like sushi it's a place to try out. Monday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. is half price sushi rolls. It's a good time to go!!
