I have been truly blessed to have wonderful friends. They always seem to know what to say and when to say it. They can sense when something is wrong with me, even if I haven't said anything. I was having a bad day a week or so ago and one of my dear friends, Jessie, sent me a card. She is currently living in Minnesota so was not able to come over and eat ice cream (ice cream usually helps the situation). She is a hilarious girl and I wanted to share the card she gave me.
The front: A picture of a little girl sitting on a donkey.
"Nothing much happening Here..."
Inside: "Just sitting around on my ass and thinking of you."
I laughed out loud (LOL Out Loud!)! That is hilarious!! Then it gets better, she wrote a message. It read, "When I'm feeling down I like to think about others. I think about ugly people and I feel a little better I'm not one of them. I think about people who go on reality shows to find Mr. Right. I feel a little better I'm not an attention- desperate, back-stabbing spoiled brat. And I think about people who fall. They make me laugh."
I was in tears reading this. I actually have read this card everyone morning since I've received it so I can start each day with a good laugh. Thanks Jessie for the card. I miss and love you too!!
