I have a group of friends that have been friends for years and years. Most of us met in Elementary School and a few more added in, in Middle School. We have been through a lot together. We try to get together at least once a month for lunch or dinner. We each take turns planning what we are doing. Some of the group have moved out of state so we try to schedule our get togethers around when most will be in town.
Jessie, who got married and moved to Minnesota, was in town to visit. As was
Jill who lives in Nebraska. We had a miscommunication so Jill was unable to make it to this get together. Wendy also just got home from her mission. Jessie asked if we could go to the Salt Lake Temple while she was here so we incorporated it with our dinner. Melissa was in charge of this month so she picked the restaurant, Rumbi's and then we went to the 7 p.m. session at the Salt Lake Temple.

This is us eating at Rumbi's. I'm taking the picture so I'm not in it. Jessie put hers on a timer and set it up on the wall but I wasn't that smart. From left to right it's Jana, Melissa, Wendy, MeLynn and Jessie.
It was cold but a beautiful night. We parked at the temple parking under the Conference Center. Thank you girls for helping MeLynn and I find our cars. Each parking level looks the same, it's easy to get lost. I took a couple of pictures of the temple with my camera after the session.

It was really special to be in such an holy place with close friends. It's wonderful that we have been close for so long and that we have the same belief system. I love my friends very much and they are very supportive of me in everything I do (they're see my show on Friday).

A couple walked by and said they'd take a picture for us in front of the temple. The guy was Italian so his girlfriend said he might not know how to take a picture, she was joking. The photos looked great. From left to right it's Melissa, Wendy, Jana, Me, Jessie and MeLynn.
"A hug is worth a thousand words. A friend is worth more."
