First Rehearsal

As Dr. Pearlman would say, "I'm...walking on air. This is a sensation that...forget it!" That's how I feel after my first Into The Woods rehearsal. It was incredible. Such a talented cast.

Last night before rehearsal started I was sitting in my chair and all of the sudden someone is hugging me from behind REALLY tight. I turn and it's Kelly DeHaan. He sits down next to me and says, "you have no idea how excited I am that you're here." I told him how excited I was when I got the casting call. He said that my audition was right now. He said it was perfect. Anytime they went down the list of people to cut and so forth, when they'd get to my name they'd say, "we love her, we're keeping her." I felt so honored! You know how I can be unsure of my talent and so forth so that helped A LOT! I love Kelly and I love how caring he is. The love that he has for this show is spreading to each actor.

If anyone is interested I can post a cast list but for those who want to come and see me, I perform in the Monday, Wednesday, Friday cast and I also do the 12:30 p.m. matinee on Saturday's. They do have a few 4 p.m. matinees scheduled during the week near the end of November too. They told us that this is the longest run that they have had because they know it's going to sell out.
